Ingredients:

  • 2 fillets of salmon (approximately 200g each)
  • 2 tablespoons of lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 1/4 cup of fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1 avocado, diced
  • 1/2 small red onion, diced
  • 1 small tomato, diced
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Kitchen Tools Needed:

  • Skillet
  • Cooking spatula
  • Knife
  • Cutting board

Instructions:

  • In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
  • Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper, then place them in the skillet skin-side down.
  • Cook the salmon for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  • While the salmon is cooking, prepare the avocado salsa by combining the diced avocado, red onion, tomato, cilantro, lime juice, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  • Once the salmon is done, serve it topped with the fresh avocado salsa.
