Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs Top-Sirloin
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 tbsp Fresh Rosemary, chopped
  • 1 tbsp Fresh Thyme, chopped
  • 4 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1 lb Potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 1/2 cup Heavy Cream
  • 1/4 cup Butter

Kitchen Tools Needed:

  • Oven
  • Stove Top
  • Blender

Instructions:

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a small bowl, mix olive oil, rosemary, thyme, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper to create a herb paste.
  • Rub the herb paste all over the top sirloin, ensuring it's evenly coated.
  • Place the top sirloin in a roasting pan and roast in the oven for 25-30 minutes, or until it reaches your desired doneness.
  • While the steak is roasting, boil the potatoes in a large pot of salted water until tender, about 15-20 minutes.
  • Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot. Add heavy cream and butter, then mash until smooth and creamy. Season with salt to taste.
  • Once the steak is done, let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
  • Serve the sliced top sirloin with a side of garlic mashed potatoes.
