Pasta with Shitake Mushroom Sauce
This delicious pasta dish has is made from Heavenly Shiitake Mushroom Sauce which go well when paired with cooked pasta. The mushrooms begin as a rich, savory base and are browned to develop their full, brothy flavor; the mushrooms are cooked in a smooth garlic and white wine sauce. What you are left with is flavor packed, smooth and silky sauce that enshrouds each and every strand of pasta to your hunger’s satisfaction. As expected from mushrooms, this dish is very homey but glamourous, perfect for a Sunday dinner or even for engagement dinner.

Clean the mushrooms and cut into thin slices. Rinse and halve the tomatoes. Rinse the arugula, and spin dry.

Peel the garlic and finely chop. Cook the pasta in boiling salted water until al dente.

Sweat the garlic in oil until translucent. Add the mushrooms and sauté. Add the tomatoes and season with salt, pepper, and vinegar. Finally, add the arugula. Drain the pasta, add to the sauce, toss to combine, and season with salt and pepper. Serve on plates.
