Chocolate-Filled Donuts

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup of cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup of granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/2 cup of milk
  • 1/4 cup of vegetable oil
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup of chocolate ganache (for filling)
  • Powdered sugar (for dusting)

Kitchen Tools Needed:

  • Donut pan
  • Mixing bowl
  • Whisk
  • Piping bag
  • Oven

Instructions:

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease the donut pan.
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, and salt until well combined.
  • In another bowl, mix the milk, vegetable oil, egg, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  • Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined.
  • Spoon the batter into the donut pan, filling each cavity about halfway.
  • Bake the donuts in the preheated oven for about 5 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  • Remove the donuts from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes.
  • Once cooled, use a piping bag to fill each donut with chocolate ganache.
  • Dust the filled donuts with powdered sugar before serving.
