🍗 Low Calorie Chicken Biryani 🍚

Ingredients:

  • 300g of basmati rice
  • 400g of chicken breast, diced
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons of biryani spice mix
  • 1 onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 carrot, diced
  • 2 cups of water
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh coriander for garnish

Kitchen Tools Needed:

  • microwave
  • bowl
  • spoon

Instructions:

  • In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the basmati rice and water. Add a pinch of salt and cook in the microwave for 10 minutes or until the rice is tender.
  • In another bowl, mix the diced chicken with olive oil and biryani spice mix. Let it marinate for 2-3 minutes.
  • In a large bowl, add the marinated chicken and chopped onion. Microwave on high for 4-5 minutes, stirring halfway through until the chicken is cooked through.
  • Once the chicken is ready, mix in the cooked rice and diced carrot. Ensure everything is well combined.
  • Garnish with fresh coriander before serving.
