🥦🥕🍚 "Mixed Vegetable Stir-Fry with Rice" 🍲🌽🍚

 


Ingredients:

  • 2 cups of basmati rice
  • 4 cups of mixed vegetables (carrots, bell peppers, broccoli, snap peas)
  • 4 tablespoons of soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon of ginger powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons of sesame seeds (for garnish)

Kitchen Tools Needed:

  • Wok
  • Spatula
  • Chopping Board
  • Knife
  • Measuring Cups
  • Bowls

Instructions:

  • Rinse the basmati rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
  • In a pot, combine the rice and 4 cups of water. Bring to a boil, then lower the heat, cover, and let it simmer for about 15 minutes until water is absorbed.
  • While the rice is cooking, heat olive oil in a wok over medium-high heat.
  • Add the mixed vegetables to the wok and stir-fry for about 5-7 minutes until they are tender-crisp.
  • Add garlic powder and ginger powder to the vegetables, and stir well.
  • Pour in the soy sauce and mix everything until the vegetables are evenly coated.
  • Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes.
  • Once the rice is ready, fluff it with a fork and serve it alongside the stir-fried vegetables.
  • Garnish with sesame seeds before serving.
