🥑🥔 Delightful Baked Potatoes with Avocado and Salsa 🥔🥑

 


Ingredients:

  • 2 medium-sized potatoes (about 200g each)
  • 1 ripe avocado (about 150g)
  • 1 cup fresh salsa (about 250g)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (about 15ml)
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish (optional)

Kitchen Tools Needed:

  • Oven
  • Fork
  • Baking tray
  • Bowl
  • Spoon

Instructions:

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Wash the potatoes thoroughly and poke several holes in them with a fork.
  • Rub the potatoes with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  • Place the potatoes directly on the oven rack and bake for 45-50 minutes, or until tender.
  • While the potatoes are baking, prepare the avocado by cutting it in half, removing the pit, and scooping the flesh into a bowl. Mash it with a fork and season with salt and pepper.
  • Once the potatoes are done, remove them from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes.
  • Cut the baked potatoes open and fluff the insides with a fork.
  • Top each potato with mashed avocado and a generous spoonful of fresh salsa.
  • Garnish with fresh cilantro if desired and serve immediately.
