Quick Cinnamon Rolls

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups of all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup of sugar
  • 1 tablespoon of baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/4 cup of unsalted butter, melted
  • 3/4 cup of milk
  • 1 tablespoon of ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup of brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon of icing sugar (for dusting)

Kitchen Tools Needed:

  • mixing bowl
  • baking sheet
  • rolling pin
  • oven

Instructions:

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine 2 cups of all-purpose flour, 1/4 cup of sugar, 1 tablespoon of baking powder, and 1/2 teaspoon of salt.
  • Add 1/4 cup of melted butter and 3/4 cup of milk to the dry ingredients and mix until a dough forms.
  • On a floured surface, roll out the dough into a rectangle.
  • In a separate bowl, mix 1 tablespoon of cinnamon with 1/4 cup of brown sugar, then sprinkle over the dough.
  • Roll the dough into a tight log and cut into 6-8 pieces.
  • Place the pieces on a baking sheet and bake for about 10 minutes until golden brown.
  • Once baked, dust with icing sugar before serving.
