🍞🐚 Garlic Butter Mussels on Toast 🐚🍞

 

Ingredients:

  • 500g Mussels
  • 1 medium Onion, chopped
  • 4 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 50g Butter
  • 4 slices of Bread

Kitchen Tools Needed:

  • Oven
  • Stove Top

Instructions:

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  • In a pot on the stove top, melt the butter over medium heat.
  • Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the pot, sauté until the onion is translucent.
  • Add the mussels to the pot and stir well to coat them in the butter mixture.
  • Cover the pot and cook for about 5-7 minutes, or until the mussels have opened up.
  • While the mussels are cooking, place the bread slices on a baking tray and toast them in the oven for about 5-7 minutes until golden brown.
  • Once the mussels are cooked, remove them from heat and discard any that did not open.
  • Serve the mussels on top of the toasted bread, spooning some of the garlic butter sauce over them.
